Rain-Again takes its environmental commitment very seriously and is working hard to reduce the company’s environmental footprint. There are also plans for expanding our environmental program to include support for overseas communities with limited access to water, or polluted water supplies.

0ffsetting carbon emissions

We’ve offset 100% of our fuel emissions by participating in the BP Global Choice™ program and paying an additional levy on our fuel. This non-profit program then invests funds into projects to reduce emissions at the source. BP Global Choice™ has already offset greenhouse gas emissions in Australia to the tune of 1,812,907 tonnes, equivalent to taking 355,750 cars off the road annually. For more information click here

Recycling

Rain-Again delivers its water in strong, polycarbonate bottles that are re-used for at least five years, with all plastic caps and cardboard also recycled. Even the old or broken bottles go to nearby schools for projects. There is also an environmental policy to reduce office waste and save power.

Reduced transport

Rain-Again purifies its water on site in Manly Vale on the Northern Beaches. Rather than transporting water over large distances from natural springs and bore sites, the water is delivered via existing infrastructure, purified and delivered locally – thus reducing carbon emissions.

Pure Water is Better for the Environment

Pure water is simply tap water that has been through a process to take out all chemicals, solids and other ‘nasties’. It is not extracted from natural springs (in Australia or overseas), does not disturb native habitat and leaves our precious natural water resources intact, as nature intended.
